Scott Andison has been named president and CEO of the Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO).

Andison previously worked with Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the national practice leader for commercial property tax. He has extensive experience in government relations, board management and association leadership. He has also worked with Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

Previous president and CEO Vince Brescia left at the end of October 2013, following 13 years of service. Mike Chopowick assumed the acting role during the executive search process. Chopowick will continue with FRPO as the vice-president of government and industry relations.
