The Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) has elected Eric DenOuden as its new president.

DenOuden has been a member of the OHBA’s executive committee for four years, and most recently served as its first vice-president.

DenOuden will serve the organization from 2013-14, beginning Sept. 23 when he officially assumes the role at the OHBA’s annual meeting of members in Niagara Falls, Ont. He replaces Leith Moore, vice-president of development with the Sorbara Development Group.

DenOuden is the owner, president and founder of Hilden Homes Ltd., a Belleville-based company that began in 1985. He has more than 30 years experience in the home building and development industry.

The OHBA is the voice of Ontario’s residential construction industry, with more than 4,000 member companies formed into 30 local associations.
