What’s involved in assembling a retrofit project team?

The selected sustainability initiatives of the retrofit project will require specific skill sets based on the nature of each initiative. The team is selected to ensure all required skill sets are on the team and led by a program manager with experience in the overall goal of implementing the sustainability initiatives. The key is to select a leader for the team who is able to identify these specific skill sets and assemble the complete team to ensure success.

The next step is to get everyone working together. The key is to ensure there are clear expectations and clear ownership for each initiative. If the expectation of each team member and expected outcomes are clear, the overall team goals should be aligned and the team’s efforts should efficiently achieve the overall goals.
