Average residential rents in Canada are closing in on their pre-pandemic peak, with the median rent reportedly hovering at $1,800 per month for all property types.

The average monthly rent in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) has increased 16.5 per cent since May 2021, according to the latest Rent Report.
