Tuesday, May 16, 2017

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) invites nominations for five open seats on its board of directors to serve a three year term. Submissions are due no later than June 15, 2017.

“We have seen a tremendous amount of positive change in the last year,” said IICRC Chairman Pete Duncanson. “This is an exciting time for the IICRC, and we look forward to seeing some new faces with fresh ideas on how we can move the Institute forward in years to come.”

Eligible candidates should have knowledge, experience, time and willingness to contribute to the mission and ideals of the IICRC and its objectives, which include:

  • Being the leading independent, non-profit, certification and standard-setting body in the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industries;
  • Setting and promoting high ethical standards;
  • Advancing communication, collaboration and technical proficiency within the industry.

The IICRC is governed by a 15-member board of directors. Every year, five directors are elected to the board by the IICRC Shareholders. Shareholders evaluate potential board members based on a nomination process. Nominations are then vetted by the nominating committee to ensure each nominee satisfies eligibility requirements as per IICRC policy.
