Gwyn Morgan, the founding CEO of EnCana Corporation, will be the chair of the ITA. The other board members include: Tom Sigurdson, the executive director of the B.C. Building Trades; Andre Calitz, vice-president of LNG Canada; and Barj Dhahan, the CEO of the Sandhurst Group of Companies.

Also on the board are Gordon Grant, communications co-ordinator for the First Nations Employment Society; Lindsay Langill, a professor and the dean of School of Trades and Technology at Thompson Rivers University; Rick Kasper, a retired bricklayer and stonemason; Jonathan Whitworth, Seasapn CEO; and MJ Whitemarsh, the former CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association British Columbia

The ITA is the Crown corporation responsible for leading B.C.’s trades training system, including developing and implementing training programs and services that respond to industry need, and issuing Red Seal and other trades credentials to qualified workers.
