Boundary Bay industrial park names first tenant

Thursday, January 23, 2014

The Dayhu Group has announced Apps Express, a full service national transportation company, as the first tenant for its new Boundary Bay Industrial Park. Apps Express is leasing 100,000 square feet of space that it will utilize to provide warehousing, receiving and distribution for offshore goods and intra-B.C. and Alberta trucking.

Boundary Bay, Delta’s largest new industrial project, is currently under construction. The 47-acre project offers about 900,000 square feet of warehouse space with proximity to the newly opened South Fraser Perimeter Road, as well as Deltaport, Canada’s largest container terminal. The industrial park is expected to be completed in May 2014.

“Tier one industrial distribution space in the Vancouver market is very difficult to find,” says Paul Tilbury, chief operating officer of the Dayhu Group. “We’re effectively the only option under construction that can offer contiguous space of this magnitude.”
