MADY Development Corporation announced a collaboration with EllisDon Corporation in an effort to further extend the typical general contractor offering and better support the delivery of superior high-rise commercial and residential services.

Executives from both companies, including Charles Mady, CEO of MADY, and Kieran Hawe, EllisDon’s Toronto Area Vice President and Manager, met to put the finishing touches on the relationship, which will tie MADY’s real estate development and management expertise, to one of Canada’s largest and most successful construction services companies.

As MADY continues to expand its real estate development activities, it will align itself with EllisDon’s recognizable brand, bonding capacity, and its range of in-house resources. MADY will also add significant high-rise commercial and residential projects to EllisDon’s ample sector list, which includes international efforts throughout North America and the Middle East.

This strategic alliance is set to benefit these two companies and their clients by fusing their strong individual offerings. Aside from being homegrown, and committed to a consistent quality of work, EllisDon and MADY share a set of values that centre on entrepreneurial enthusiasm, integrity, and client satisfaction.

Founded over 40 years ago in Windsor, Ontario, MADY is a strong and diversified development group with commercial and residential business operations across North America. The company has a current development portfolio of more than 1,500 condos, over 1.5 million square feet of retail projects and several retirement communities all valued at over $1 billion.

EllisDon is an employee-owned construction services company, with revenues in excess of $3 billion annually that delivers construction expertise to clients throughout the world. The company offers construction and project management services, in addition to services in risk management, sustainability and information technology.
