CaGBC launches online LEED project database

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) recently launched an online LEED project profiles database in honour of World Green Building Week.

The tool showcases more than 4,000 registered and certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) projects in Canada. Details within the database include project case studies, high resolution photos, team lists and summaries of each certified project.

“We are very pleased to be celebrating World Green Building Week with the launch of the most comprehensive collection of data on Canadian green buildings available,” said Thomas Mueller, president and CEO of the CaGBC, at the time of the launch. “Canada’s green building movement has evolved and grown a great deal over the past decade, as was evident earlier this year when we certified our 1000th LEED building.”

Organized by the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), the fourth annual World Green Building Week ran from Sept. 16 – 20.
