A powerful homecoming took place May 8, 2026 at Sen̓áḵw in Vancouver as the Squamish Nation celebrated the Blessing Ceremony for the first completed residential tower.

The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC)’s North Vancouver headquarters is set to become a new mixed-use residential development.

Currently underway in Vancouver, Sen̓áḵw is a powerful testament to Indigenous land ownership and an economic legacy that’s expected to generate upwards of $10 billion in revenue for the Squamish Nation.

Graham Construction has been selected to undertake remediation work at the Woodfibre site in Squamish.

The Squamish Nation has voted to move forward with a development under the Vancouver Burrard Street Bridge in partnership with Wesbank Projects Corp.
