QuadReal Property Group has acquired a portfolio of 27 self-storage properties in the United Kingdom to be operated by its new joint venture partner, Clear Sky Capital.

The vendor garners $310 million through the sell-off of 7,500 existing rentable storage units and properties where a further 3,000 units are set for development.

Two newly closed transactions with a relatively modest $8.7-million price tag have pushed StorageVault Canada past the $140-million milestone for deal value thus far this year.
