The government of Newfoundland and Labrador has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the Marble Mountain Ski Resort, as part of an effort to divest non-core provincial assets.

Retail assets within Whistler Creekside Village in B.C. and Blue Mountain Village in Ontario were recently sold in a $103-million luxury resort.

Vail Resorts, a leading global mountain resort operator, announced it will acquire Canada’s Whistler Blackcomb Holdings and ski resort for $1.4 billion.
