Average rent in Canada has dropped 3.1 per cent since last November to $2,074 marking the 14th consecutive month of annual decreases.

Municipal rental rates continue to rise in major markets across Canada according to the latest Rent Report from Bullpen Research & Consulting and TorontoRentals.com. 

Following two months of decline, the average monthly rental rate in Canada increased four per cent in May, according to the June national rent report produced by Rentals.ca and Bullpen Research & Consulting.
