OSRAM has sold LEDVANCE, a general lighting provider for professional users and retail customers, to a Chinese investment consortium.

According to a recent report from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), national home sales recovered slightly in September 2016 compared to August.

Canadian home sales fell 3.1 per cent month-over-month in August 2016, making it the fourth consecutive month of sales declines, according to the CREA.

According to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, there were 3,226 home sales in the region in July 2016, a drop of 18.9 per cent year-over-year.

At the end of the 2014 calendar year, Greater Toronto Area home sales, reported through the TorontoMLS system, registered a 6.7 per cent increase over the 2013 sales figure, according to the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). In 2014, a total of 92,867 sales were recorded, with 4,446 of them taking place in December.
