The 178,680 sq.ft. Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre is the first facility of its kind in North America.

The new facility, located in central-north Edmonton, will serve as a major community and recreational hub.

The facility aims to demystify high-performance sport and encourage future generations of athletes by co-locating the velodrome within a community recreation centre.
