BGO Properties has added a trio of experienced senior executives to its ranks, assigning them to three business areas of its Canadian portfolio. Marlene Farias joins the national operating group, while Stephen Smith and Jeff Wilson take on key regional roles.
Farias has been named national vice president of sustainability and technical services, and will be responsible for BGO’s operational excellence, sustainability and technical services group. She brings more than 20 years of experience to that task after formerly holding leadership roles at Triovest and JLL.
Smith heads to BGO’s British Columbia region to lead commercial property management and leasing. He has more than 25 years of real estate experienced developed in previous roles with Oxford Properties, Manulife and Wesgroup Properties.
Wilson will oversee BGO Properties’ management portfolio in Ontario, while taking on the title of vice president, property management, for the Greater Toronto Area. He has more than 20 years of property management and operations experience, most recently leading retail operations for Westdell Development Group.
