Gemterra’s latest development, Joy Condos, is beginning to take shape after breaking ground less than one year ago. The condominium, located at 195 Bonis Avenue as an extension to the firm’s Love Condominiums, has already topped two underground parking levels and is beginning to climb upward. Completion is expected in 2017.

“We are very excited to reach above grade level with Joy Condos,” said Yan Wang, president of Gemterra Developments Corporation, in a press release. “Sales have been strong, solidifying the positive residential addition Joy Condos will bring to this bustling pocket of Scarborough.”

After the development is complete, residents of the 21-storey tower and townhomes will share a 4,000 square foot sustainably landscaped green roof terrace, which will be located at the top of the glass-enclosed amenities building. This building will also feature a fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment, an aerobics/yoga room, indoor swimming pool, hot tub and saunas.

The residential tower will feature a lounge area and billiards room. Outdoor spaces include areas for outdoor dining, a barbecue patio courtyard and greenery surrounding the property. Suites will be outfitted with quartz kitchen countertops, Energy Star stainless steel appliances and full-size washer and dryer, with optional upgrades available.
