StorageVault Canada has completed the $220-million acquisition of 13 stores and a vacant land parcel. The deal, involving six vendor groups, adds nine Ontario locations to StorageVault’s portfolio along with two each in Quebec and Alberta and one in Nova Scotia. The purchase price was paid with cash on hand and the issuance of $8 million worth of common shares.

With completion, StorageVault owns and operates 209 storage locations in seven provinces. That includes 167 owned sites and 4,600 portable storage units, comprising more than 9.2 million square feet of rentable space.
