SIOR, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, central Canada chapter has named brokers of the year for 2023. The honours have been conveyed in four categories, for industrial, office, young professionals and industry leadership and contribution. This year’s winners include:

• Kyle Hanna, vice chairman CBRE Canada, based in the Toronto West region, is industrial broker of the year;
• Ron Jasinski, senior vice president with Colliers, based in Toronto, is office broker of the year;
• Emily Everett, sales representative with CBRE’s urban retail team, based in Toronto, is young professional of the year; and
• Lyndsay Hopps, principal and industrial/office sales representative with Avison Young, based in the Toronto West region, has received SIOR board recognition for industry leadership.

The SIOR central Canada chapter encompasses most of Ontario’s urban regions, with the exception of Ottawa and Cornwall, which are part of the Canada east chapter.
