The winners of the inaugural REMI Show and ISSA Show Canada Industry Awards were revealed at ISSA Canada’s Annual Industry Award, Breakfast and Keynote, held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The annual awards recognize achievements, contributions, and leadership within the Canadian real estate and building maintenance industries under the specific award category entitled — Industry Leadership and Outstanding Contribution. To be considered, all the recipients have to be an active member of their industry and must have a minimum of 25 years of experience.
Here’s a list of this year’s winners:
The IFMA Award for Industry Leadership and Outstanding Contribution goes to Michael Riseborough. Riseborough is the director terminal infrastructure Greater Toronto Airports Authority. The award was presented by Don Gilpin, IFMA‘S COO.
The ISSA Award for Industry Leadership and Outstanding Contribution goes to Mike Watt. Watt is the director of training and innovation, Avmor Limited. The award was presented by Mike Nosko, executive director, ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.
And the REMI Award for Industry Leadership and Outstanding Contribution goes to Kevin Stevenson. The award was presented by Chuck Nervick, senior vice-president MediaEdge Communications.
