He also addresses what recourse a condo board has if a unit owner breaks the rules and whether pet restrictions in a condominium’s documents can be amended.

Puja Walia, associate, Deacon Spears Fedson & Montizambert (DSFM) Barristers and Solicitors addresses whether a condominium corporation can (and should) prohibit pet ownership outright. She also discusses what a condo board should do if a unit owner fails to comply with a building’s pet rules and certain instances that may hinder a condo corporation from enforcing its pet restrictions.
