Wednesday, August 13, 2014

A 55-storey condominium development launching in downtown Toronto will feature a two-storey “SkyClub” containing 30,000 square feet of amenities. Amexon Development Corporation announced its plans for the condos, known as The Residences of 488 University Avenue, in early August.

The SkyClub will include a fitness facility, indoor and outdoor pools, a squash court, outdoor lounge, meeting room and screening room. The condominium development will also feature a 50-foot atrium with a grand residential lobby, lifestyle retail shops and signature restaurant.

Individual units will have large en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets, hardwood flooring, high quality stone and tile, European appliances and touch pad controls.

Future residents will enjoy views of Queen’s Park, Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. Located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums, parks and the city’s financial district, the project will also be directly accessible to transit.

Amexon will work with CORE Architects, II BY IV DESIGN Associates and Toddglen Construction on the project, which is expected to complete construction in 2017.
