Ottawa hotel undergoes multi-million dollar reno

Extensive renovations have begun at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel.

The renovation plan, which will cost $4 million, includes:

  • New lobby and great room, complete with iMac workstations
  • Refurbished suites and guest rooms with new carpeting, window treatments and lighting fixtures
  • Work desks with ergonomic chairs
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • LCD televisions
  • New meeting rooms for business travelers

The 29-storey building, located close by to Parliament Hill, features 472 rooms and eight suites. Guests can take advantage of the hotel’s many amenities, including a health club, pool, sauna and games room.

It also has Green Key Eco-Rating certification, indicating their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and improving overall environmental performance.

The renovations are scheduled to be completed in September 2014.
