The National Bank recently earned the highest BOMA BESt certification at level 4, after scoring higher than 90 per cent on environmental performance and management at its head office in Montreal.

Along with the tower manager, the Bank, is rewarded with the only assessment and certification program of its kind for commercial buildings in Canada.

Over the years the National Bank has implemented various green measures, and now, along with the tower manager, is rewarded through the only assessment program of its kind for commercial buildings.

“This distinction confirms that the Bank’s rigorous management in this matter is making a difference,” said André Longpré, manager of building engineering and sustainable development at the National Bank. “The Bank intends to continue its environmental efforts at its head office, offices and branches, to the benefit of its clients, employees and all its partners.”

The National Bank is presently being audited for LEED Canada – EB certification for its head office.
