Jones Lang LaSalle has opened a new office in Edmonton, thereby expanding its Canadian footprint.
Services in the new office will initially focus on office and industrial leasing, though the scope is expected to broaden in coming months.
“As Jones Lang LaSalle grows its national client base, the addition of a team in Edmonton is vital to ensuring we can help our clients in every major market,” says Brett Miller, president of Jones Lang LaSalle Canada. “Edmonton is quickly evolving and we see that there is great opportunity for growth in the market. Its rapidly growing infrastructure makes it a very attractive destination for tenants and investors.”
The company has hired a group of industry experts — Chad Brennand, Carolyn Bull, Jim Bijou, Kris Augustson and Andres Mateluna — to establish and lead operations in the new office. The office leasing team will consist of Brennand as senior vice-president and Bull as an associate.
Bijou has been named senior vice-president of the industrial team, and is joined by Augustson as associate vice-president and Mateluna as associate.
