A new condominium development, comprised of two 38-storey towers and 17 townhouses, is poised to become downtown Montreal’s largest privately developed residential real estate project. Known as the YUL development, the condo is a collaborative effort between Canadian company, Tianco Group, and the Montreal-based Brivia Group.

The approximately $300-million project, located at 1400 René-Lévesque West, has entered preconstruction and the first tower is expected to be completed by spring 2017.

“We have a long-term vision for Downtown Montreal,” says Kheng Ly, President and CEO of Brivia Group. “YUL demonstrates our desire to stand out from other real estate projects and position YUL as Downtown Montreal’s most prestigious address. YUL, as a major real estate development, will contribute to promoting Montreal on the international stage.”

Residents of YUL will have access to a variety of building amenities, including a 23,000 square foot garden, urban gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a Sky Lounge on the 38th floor. Together, the buildings will include over 800 units, some of which will have entirely customizable designs. Architectural firm, Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux, has developed the project’s structural concept.
