A luxury condo sale in Eau Claire has broken MLS records in Calgary, according to an article by Mario Toneguzzi of the Calgary Herald. The penthouse unit of the Princeton Hall highrise sold for $4.4 million, earning recognition as the most expensive condo sale ever recorded in the region.
In fact, Eau Claire is home to the top four most expensive condo sales in Calgary. In 2011, a $4.1-million sale took place in the Princeton Grand building in southwest Eau Claire. The area’s third highest sale was $3.7 million in 2007, with the fourth highest at $3.3 million earlier in 2014.
The 3,200-square-foot property, which was originally listed for $5.2 million in 2013, features a high speed elevator and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace. The unit also comes with three reserved parking spaces. Princeton Hall amenities include a 24-hour concierge service, private secure parking with a heated ramp and car wash bay, an exercise room, a guest suite, a conference room and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
The 14-storey building, located at 690 Princeton Way SW, was finished in 2002 and includes 43 units.
