Citron Hygiene has acquired Workplace Essentials, a washroom and workplace hygiene company, headquartered in the Boston suburb of Billerica, Massachusetts.

This is Citron Hygiene’s second acquisition since its ownership change last April when Birch Hill Equity Partners acquired it in partnership with President and CEO Peter Farrell.

Last September, Citron Hygiene acquired Sani-Service Inc., a Canadian national service provider of washroom hygiene and commercial warewashing systems from Serruya Private Equity Inc.

For the time being, Workplace Essentials will continue to operate under its existing tradename and its leadership team will continue to manage the US business”.

Linda Pace, president and chief executive officer of Workplace Essentials, said the brand will expand its product and service offerings under the Citron Hygiene umbrella
