Bone Structure homes expand to west coast

Thursday, March 13, 2014

Home construction company Bone Structure has expanded into Alberta and British Columbia.

The Quebec-based company has developed and patented a home building system that requires no nails or cutting. Rather, buildings are assembled and simply snap together with pieces in a fashion similar to Lego or Meccano.

The technology allows for flexibility, efficiency and respect for the environment.

In fact, from schematic design to construction, putting together a 3,000-square-foot home takes from 12 to 14 weeks.

Electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems are connected through precut openings that act as veritable highways within the structure.
