Friday, June 26, 2015

Avison Young has opened a new office in the heart of Hamburg, Germany’s central business district, marking the company’s sixth office in Europe.

Germans operations in Frankfurt commenced in December 2014, with Munich and Duesseldorf openings thereafter.

In turn, Thomas Loeffler will lead the Hamburg operations as a managing director of Avison Young Germany GmbH. Loeffler will focus on regional growth strategy through recruitment and acquisition, while working on national growth alongside other regional managing directors.

In addition, Aram Savci will join Avison Young in Hamburg as a consultant specializing in office leasing. Both Loeffler and Savci served as branch manager and leasing agent, respectively, with DTZ in Hamburg.

“We have now opened four offices in Germany in the past seven months and couldn’t be more pleased to have Thomas leading the way in our Hamburg office,” said Mark Rose, chair and chief executive officer of Avison Young. “Together with Munich, Hamburg is one of the large growth regions in Germany and one of the most robust real estate markets in the country.”

The firm also has offices in London and Thames Valley, UK.
